Original and practical baby socks: A pattern for two knitting needles and only knit and purl! Lovely 💚 & cool.

After a lot of googling on knitted baby booties, sports shoes, Nike, Converse, All stars, etc. I didn’t find any pictures or patterns to my liking so I designed these sneakers myself. I think it’s important that baby booties are comfortable and fit well. The loop around babies ankle ensures that your baby can’t kick out these socks.

These socks fit a baby from 3 to 9 months.

These socks fit a baby from 3 to 9 months.

Material

  • The examples are knitted with Phildar Phil Etik: 100% eco cotton. Ball weight 50 gram , yarn length 113 meter (124 yards).
  • You need approx. 70 meter (77 yards) in color, approx. 35 meter (38 yards) in white and approx. 7 meter (8 yards) in black.
  • Two 3 mm knitting needles (US size 3 UK size 11).
  • One 2½ mm crochet hook (size C2 US, 12 UK) without a handle.
  • (Thin) needle with a blunt tip (darning needle).
